Hua Hin Overview

Hua Hin used to be just a small port of fishing. In the 1920s King Rama VII chose this place to make a summer vacation for the royal family and named it Klai Kangwon, which means "No trouble", indicating the peaceful atmosphere here. So Hua Hin changed his life into a high-class resort of Bangkok with an 18-hole golf course designed as a recreational vehicle. Today the king's family stays in Hua Hin for several months of the year, while the beach also welcomes a large number of foreign tourists.
